Cookie Policy
Last updated: July 1, 2026
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. They can keep you signed in, remember preferences or, on other sites, serve advertising and tracking. Oterian only uses the first kind.
2. Cookies we use
cos_session - strictly necessary technical session cookie. It securely identifies your authenticated session (HttpOnly, Secure, SameSite). It expires when you log out or after inactivity.
lang - technical language-preference cookie. It remembers the language you chose (Spanish or English) so we do not ask again. It expires after 12 months.
3. What we do NOT use
We do not use advertising cookies, third-party analytics cookies or cross-site tracking cookies. No third party sets cookies through oterian.com.
Since we only use strictly necessary technical and preference cookies, no consent banner is required under applicable law. If we ever introduce non-exempt cookies, we will ask for your prior consent and update this policy.
4. How to manage them
You can delete or block cookies from your browser settings. Note that blocking the session cookie prevents you from signing in to the platform.
